The seasoned New England duo of Mick Lawless and Tom Yates present a unique insight into the compositions of Michael Nesmith, as well as deeper Monkees cuts, and other classic American treats.

Starting as a vision nearly 20 years ago, Mick Lawless put together the first incarnation of Loose Salute in 2004. Along the way & in their history, the band has had the pleasure of working with Monkees members Peter Tork & Micky Dolenz, as well as Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night, and Mark Lindsay of Paul Revere & the Raiders.A New England favorite for almost 2 decades, Loose Salute now resides mostly as a duo concept (Mick Lawless and Tom Yates), who bring to the forefront the brilliance of Michael Nesmith's compositions, and touch on the amazing stable of songwriters that surrounded the Monkees phenomenon.
